Congratulations to Sophie Robinson, Anna Farbridge, Aareeba Sadeque, and the rest of Youth Council Penticton on their successful campaign to get Penticton City Council to support extending voting rights to 16-17s. Penticton joins Vancouver, Vernon, Victoria, and Saanich in calling on the BC government to enact this change.
